- A new 5-8
middle school, attached to the existing Perry-Lecompton High School
Building. The new structure will provide for increased efficiency
and educational effectiveness by having more of our students together
on one campus. At the same time, the plan effectively separates
the different levels (5/6 - 7/8 - 9/12) from each other.
- A new competition
gymnasium for use by the students of the high school and the middle
school, with seating for 1600 fans. The district has been lacking
adequate facilities for PE instruction and athletic competition,
not only when compared to other schools in our league and our
area, but also for scheduling practices, games, and classes for
our students. This addition will provide for increased locker
room space and a weight room.
- Two classrooms
and a gymnasium added to Lecompton Elementary School.
