| During the summer
of 2004, Perry Elementary underwent extensive renovation to reclaim
some existing space for use as classrooms. Almost the entire portion
of the building south and east of the gymnasium was renovated to provide
two beautiful classrooms for all-day kindergarten, a relocated room
for music, a 4th grade classroom, and a bright, cheery and functional
open space that is being used as a lunchroom/commons area. The renovation,
which is a wonderful improvement to Perry Elementary, was completed
without the need to assess additional taxes. |
